As a young child I soon learned that in life there must be conformity in order to survive junior high. I just wish it didn’t mean leaving the comfort and freedom I had always known for a restrictive and more controlling fashion statement.

Potty training a child can be an arduous process. However, the solution for my mother was to take the one person I wanted to be like and put their life on the line as I learned how to go to the bathroom in a beige, porcelain mammoth.
